The Ramakrishna Mission, Parsol, Usgao, Goa is pleased to announce:

Swami Vivekananda Yuva Jagriti Competition 2025

A state-level competition aimed at inspiring the youth of Goa through the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, India’s National Youth Icon.

Format:

Round I: Online test - second week of November 2025,

Round II: For Qualifying Students: Offline exam at the Ramakrishna Mission, Parsol, Usgao, Goa - last week of November 2025.

Eligibility: 

Open to all students across Goa in the following categories

Category I: (Classes 5–7)

Category II: (Classes 8–10)

Category III: 

Section A: (Classes 11, 12, and undergraduate college students)

Section B: Postgraduate Students (including those pursuing Master's degree or PhD)

Registration Guidelines 

  • All participants are required to carefully read and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations.
  • Please ensure that all details entered in the registration form are accurate and complete

  • Each student is allowed to register only once. Multiple entries will lead to disqualification.
  • Please provide a valid and active email address for all official communication and updates.

By registering for this competition, participants (and their parents/guardians, where applicable) consent to participate in all rounds of the competition and agree to abide by the official rules, evaluation criteria, and terms and conditions as stated on this website. Submission of the registration form will be considered as acceptance of all guidelines and policies outlined by Ramakrishna Mission, Parsol, Usgao, Goa.

Examination Guidelines

Round 1 (Online Exam)

  • The first round will be conducted online via Google Forms. 
  • It will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) along with one short essay question.
  • Students must ensure stable internet connectivity and complete the exam within the given time frame.

Round 2 (Final Round)

  • The top 25 students from each category will qualify for Round 2.
  • This round will be conducted offline at the Ramakrishna Mission, Parsol, Usgao, Goa
  • The students will be required to carry their Adhaar Card and valid school/college ID which will be verified at the examination centre during Round II.

Code of Conduct: 

  • Any form of cheating, impersonation, plagiarism, or duplication will lead to disqualification.

Category I: (Classes 5–7)
  • 1st Prize:  Rs. 15,000
  • 2nd Prize: Rs. 10,000
  • 3rd Prize: Rs. 5,000
  • Certificates, books, mementos + Consolation prizes of Rs. 500 each to 10 runners up
Category II: (Classes 8–10)
  • 1st Prize:  Rs. 20,000
  • 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000
  • 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000
  • Certificates, books, mementos + Consolation prizes of Rs. 800 each to 10 runners up
Category III: 
Section A (Classes 11, 12, and undergraduate college students) +
Section B: Postgraduate Students (including those pursuing Master's degree or PhD)
  • 1st Prize:  Rs. 25,000
  • 2nd Prize: Rs. 20,000
  • 3rd Prize: Rs. 15,000
  • Certificates, books, mementos + Consolation prizes of Rs. 1000 each to 10 runners up

Rules and Regulations for Participants

All-Goa State Level Competition on the declared National Youth Icon, Swami Vivekananda, and his Life and Teachings

All participants are required to carefully read and strictly adhere to the following rules and regulations. Violation of any of these rules will result in immediate disqualification.

Academic Integrity
  1. The examination must be answered independently and honestly.
  2. Copying, using notes, books, chits, websites, or external help is strictly prohibited.
  3. Do not share or circulate exam questions or answers with others.
  4. Use of AI tools, online search engines, or any digital aids during the examination is strictly prohibited.
Registration Guidelines

  • Submit only one registration form with accurate and truthful information.
  • Multiple registrations by the same student will result in automatic disqualification.
  • Only students who register before the cutoff date will be allowed to participate.
Round I – Online Examination

  1. The exam link will be shared via the registered email or official communication channel.
  2. The exam must be completed in one sitting and submitted only once.
  3. Multiple submission by the same student of the examination form will result in automatic disqualification.
  4. Do not refresh the browser or attempt to resubmit the form during the exam.
  5. Ensure a stable internet connection throughout the exam duration.

Round II – Offline Written Examination
  1. Only students selected from Round I will qualify for Round II.
  2. Round II will be conducted at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Parsol, Usgao.
  3. Students must carry the following for verification on exam day.
  4. Original Aadhaar Card
  5. Original School/College ID Card
  6.  A scanned copy of the School/College ID and Original Adhaar Card must be uploaded during Round II registration.
  7. Students without valid ID proofs will not be allowed to sit for the exams
Exam Day Rules (Offline – Round II)
  1. Students must report on time at the examination centre at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Parsol, Usgao. 
  2. Candidates should report at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. 
  3. Entry will not be allowed after 30 minutes from the commencement of the examination.
  4. Candidates cannot leave the examination hall until the examination duration is completed.
  5. The following items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall:
    1. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, books, written notes, or digital devices.
  6. Strict silence and discipline must be maintained during the exam.
  7. Seeking help from others or engaging in any form of malpractice will lead to disqualification. 
  8. Dress Code:
    1. Candidates should wear modest and appropriate clothing. 
    2. Avoid wearing clothes with large pockets or clothing that may raise suspicion

Instructions Regarding Question Paper and Answer Booklet
  1. Read the instructions on the question paper carefully.
  2. Write your roll number correctly on the answer booklet.
  3. Do not write your name or make any personal identification marks.
  4. Begin writing only after instructions from the invigilator.
  5. Use only blue or black ballpoint pens. Red or green ink is not allowed.
  6. Maintain clear and legible handwriting.

Unfair Means (Strictly Prohibited)
The following acts will be treated as the use of unfair means:
  1. Copying or attempting to copy answers
  2. Communicating with others during the exam
  3. Possession of written notes, unauthorized material, or gadgets
  4. Impersonation or having a proxy appear on your behalf
  5. Carrying or taking out any exam-related material from the hall
Declaration and Consent

By submitting the registration form, the student and their parent/guardian agree to:

  1. Provide accurate personal and academic information.
  2. Abide by all competition rules and instructions.
  3. Accept that all decisions taken by the organizers will be final and binding.
Exam Conduct

  1. Candidates must maintain discipline and silence at all times.
  2. Follow all instructions given by the examination staff.
  3. Sit only at the designated seat.
  4. Cooperate during ID and document verification.
Other Exam related Important Points
Penalties for Misconduct: 
  1. Immediate removal from the examination hall. 
  2. Cancellation of the exam paper. 
  3. Suspension or debarment from future exams. 
  4. Legal consequences in serious cases (such as impersonation).
There is no provision for re-examination in case of absence due to illness, personal reasons, or travel issues.
 
Other Important Guidelines

  1. Selection for Round II and awards will be based purely on merit.
  2. No requests for rechecking, revaluation, or special consideration will be entertained.
  3. Ramakrishna Mission reserves the right to verify the details provided at any stage.
  4. Any form of misconduct, false information, or misrepresentation will lead to disqualification, even after the results are declared.

How can I register

Registrations for the competition will open in June 2025 and will be conducted entirely online. Once open, you can register by clicking the “Register Now” button on this page and completing the registration form. Please ensure all required details are filled in accurately and submitted before the deadline.

Is there any registration fee?

No, participation in the competition is completely free of cost.

Can PhD students participate?

Yes, students who are currently pursuing or enrolled in an ongoing PhD program are eligible to participate under the Category III (Section B: Postgraduate Students (including those pursuing Master's degree or PhD).

Can students from outside Goa Participate

Currently, the competition is open only to students enrolled in schools in Goa
